MannaLingo Privacy Policy

Account information may include email address, account identifier, display name, login method, role, and account preferences.

Learner-profile information may include learner name, learner-stage category, native and target language, level, learning goals, focus preferences, accessibility choices, and presentation settings voluntarily provided by the account holder or authorized adult/institution.

Learning activity may include courses, lessons, answers, practice attempts, scores, progress, streaks, badges, assignments, certificates, review history, and related educational evidence.

AI tutor interactions may include prompts, tutor responses, educational context, and learning history needed to provide the requested tutoring experience and continuity.

Family, church, and school features may process membership, enrollment, assignments, group participation, roles, announcements, and related records when those features are used.

Support and feedback may include issue reports, comments, attachments, support requests, and communications a user chooses to submit.

Technical and security data may include browser/device information, authentication events, diagnostics, error information, IP-derived security signals where provided by infrastructure, and security logs.

Subscription information may include plan, subscription status, transaction references, and billing records. Payment-card details may be processed directly by the payment provider instead of being stored by MannaLingo.

MannaLingo's current Google sign-in does not require access to Gmail messages, Google Drive files, Google Calendar events, Google Contacts, or other Google Workspace content. If MannaLingo later introduces a separate feature that needs an additional Google permission, that feature must clearly request the additional scope and the user must separately authorize it before access occurs.

MannaLingo does not receive or store a user's Google password. Google handles the Google credential entry and consent experience.

Information is used to create, authenticate, secure, and manage accounts; deliver multilingual language learning for the learner's selected source and target languages; provide Bible-centered lessons and educational adventures where available; deliver vocabulary, grammar, reading, writing, listening, speaking, conversation, real-life roleplay, games, adaptive placement and practice, review, and progress tracking; provide AI-assisted educational tutoring; support family, church, school, and teacher features; process subscriptions and entitlements; send enabled service or learning notifications; answer support requests; prevent abuse and fraud; and improve reliability, accessibility, curriculum quality, and user-facing functionality.

Google user data is used only for the user-facing account functionality for which it was obtained, primarily authentication, account association, secure access, and related account support.

MannaLingo does not sell Google user data and does not use it for targeted, personalized, retargeted, interest-based, or other advertising; advertising profiles; data-broker or information-reseller activities; credit-worthiness decisions; lending; unrelated databases; unrelated data products; or surveillance of users.

MannaLingo does not use Google OAuth user data or Google Workspace API data to develop, improve, or train generalized or non-personalized AI or machine-learning models.

MannaLingo does not sell personal information or Google user data. Information may be shared only when reasonably necessary to operate MannaLingo, deliver a feature the user requested, protect users and the service, process a payment, or comply with law.

Necessary service providers may support hosting, authentication, database infrastructure, security, communications, payment processing, analytics, or AI-assisted learning. They may process information only for the services they provide to MannaLingo and subject to applicable contractual and legal obligations.

Google user data is not transferred to advertising networks, data brokers, or information resellers. Information may also be disclosed when required by applicable law or valid legal process, or when reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, security, or service integrity.

MannaLingo may use AI-powered features for language tutoring, educational feedback, practice generation, curriculum support, and learning assistance. Information a user submits to an AI feature may be processed to generate the requested response and maintain relevant educational context.

Google account data obtained for sign-in is not used to infer a learner's intelligence, mental capacity, medical condition, religious beliefs, or advertising interests, and is not used to train generalized or unrelated AI models.

MannaLingo includes educational experiences that may be used by children and teenagers. Where parental, guardian, school, or organizational authorization is required by applicable law, the responsible adult or institution should create, authorize, or supervise the learner's use.

MannaLingo is designed to minimize unnecessary collection of sensitive personal information from younger learners. Learners should not submit home addresses, private contact details, passwords, private images, or other unnecessary sensitive information to the AI tutor or learning exercises. Parents or guardians may contact MannaLingo to request review or deletion of a child's personal information.

MannaLingo uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to protect personal information and Google user data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, loss, or misuse. Safeguards may include authenticated access controls, role-based permissions, encrypted network transmission, provider security controls, restricted access, logging, monitoring, and security review practices.

No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Users should protect their account credentials and notify MannaLingo if they believe their account has been compromised.

MannaLingo may use essential cookies, authentication tokens, or browser storage to maintain account sessions, remember interface language, selected learner, learning-language choices, accessibility/display settings, and offline content the user chooses to save.

MannaLingo may use aggregated or service analytics to understand feature usage, diagnose reliability problems, and improve the user experience. Google user data is not used for targeted advertising or advertising analytics profiles.

MannaLingo retains personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain account and learning records, meet legitimate operational and security needs, prevent fraud or abuse, resolve disputes, satisfy applicable legal or accounting requirements, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary by data type and purpose.

When information is no longer required, MannaLingo deletes or de-identifies it within a reasonable period, subject to legal, security, fraud-prevention, billing, backup, and recordkeeping requirements. Residual copies may remain temporarily in protected backups until those backups are overwritten or expire.

Users may request deletion of their MannaLingo account and associated personal information through the public account-deletion page at https://mannalingo.com/delete-account or by emailing support@mannalingo.com. The request should identify the email address used for the MannaLingo account and state that account/data deletion is requested. MannaLingo may verify the requester's identity before completing the request.

A user who signed in with Google can separately review or revoke MannaLingo's Google access through the permissions/security area of their Google Account. Revoking Google access stops future authorized Google access, but does not by itself delete the MannaLingo account or learning records; use the deletion process above when account/data deletion is desired.

Depending on the user's location and applicable law, a user may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or information about personal data associated with the account. MannaLingo may need to verify identity before fulfilling a privacy request.

MannaLingo and its service providers may process information in countries other than the country where a user lives. Where required, appropriate safeguards are used for cross-border processing, and information remains subject to this Privacy Policy and applicable law.

MannaLingo's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including applicable Limited Use requirements.

MannaLingo may update this Privacy Policy as features or data practices change. Material changes will update the effective/last-updated date and additional notice will be provided when required.
